Music: Carry Weight - Segun Cooper & The Flames Of Worship ft. Kenny K'ore

Prominent Christian artist and worship leader, Segun Cooper, puts out a debut song after being in the industry for years. He features music maestro, Kenny Kore in his debut song "Carry Weight". This song talks about the name of God which is above all names. In Segun Cooper's words,

"I was at a fellowship, having a prayer meeting and  while playing the keyboard, I could feel the power and the move of God that afternoon, I couldn't explain it, the only words that came through my mouth while playing the keyboard was, "your name carry weight" and I sang it times without number. Many of us pray without believing God will do what He has said, many pray in the name of Jesus but really, are not sure of the potency of His name so they look for solution elsewhere, many ask in His name but are not sure He will do it but, I know one thing for sure that God's word never returns to Him void because it carries power. He said you will say to this mountain, "be thou moved" and it will.."

Segun Cooper is a lead singer in Freeborn, an afropop band which rocked  the airwaves with their smashing hit "Fujitiv" produced by Cobham's Asuquo in 2005, he is the  convener of an annual worship meeting which has featured the likes of Eben, Tim Godfrey, Gbolahan Odukoya, Gospel Force and Odunayo Aboderin. He holds a monthly worship meeting with the Flames of Worship. He has shared stages with prominent ministers such as Jamaican legend Lester Lewis, Sammie Okposo, Eben, Efe Nathan, Provabs, Henrisoul, Kenny Kore just to mention a few.
