Event: #1worship Online Project - Thank You

Firstly, we give God the glory for the success of the project. We never had the idea that it would be so much more even with our expectations, He said, “it will be done”, lo and behold it was. We cannot fathom the power that came with His presence, if we are to say in a different way, it would be “God did not just burst our heads, He gave it a reset to understand worship, one worship”. To this extent, we know that God has so much more for His children and we will not stop until we get all of Him, not the most. With our hearts we give thanks to God for His will is being done.

The project which ran from the 1^st October, 2017 till 31^st December, 2017 rounded off with a concert that took place on 29^th December, 2017 at RCCG World Changers’ Assembly (Youth Church).  The aim was to propagate the understanding that worship is deeper than what we have come to think of it. The approach most “Christians” have been expressing about worship is not the spiritual approach because if it were, it would have been evident in the life we live or simply put, in how we make a living. Worship is beyond singing in church or the regular gatherings on Sundays and attending fellowships, worship is the life of believers. To this effect we broadcasted on social media that believers should express worship in one-minute videos and post on their various platforms, tag their friends to do the same. We had so much faith that by the reason of these videos, people would get the understanding of worship, if not a glimpse of it. The response was outstanding as we recorded over three hundred videos on Instagram alone; we are still putting together the statistics of other online social platforms. We give God the glory for this report. With these videos, it would reflect on the public what worship is a lifestyle and by the reason of this act, salvation of souls, which is the ultimate goal of this project. We hope to continue as the Lord leads us.

Moving on to the concert, which was an evening event that was hosted by Adedayo Aladaba “GR33NIX” and co-hosted by Dejavu & David. We had our guests to be Strength of Zion, Ore Clarke, Segun Cooper & The Flames of Worship, John Kenny, Adedeji Damilola “Dazzle”, Onome Enekerakpor (6^th GCGT Winner), Onyinyechi Akintunde and Abiodun Arogunmaya. The time was set for 5:00pm but we started 5:30pm due to minor arrangements at the venue and we ended by 8:30pm. We had the presence of almost all our guest ministers but due to some other confidential matters we could not have the presence of some others which was why we had Abraham Junaid, Tofunmi Komolafe and Pastor Dare Akinbajo (resident pastor) minister unto us. We also had the presence of highly esteemed guests such as Daddy Akinsola, Olayemi Ganiyu, Dcn. Jide, Mummy (Pst.) O. Olahan, Mummy Aladesanmi, TomiLagos, Mummy Akinbanjo, Olayinka Bada (Gospel Force) etc. The event was streamed on Facebook (the blog’s page precisely, video will be available on our YouTube channel) and was handled by a team of trusted friends and family. At the end of the day, our goal was accomplished, God released the understanding of true worship via our ministers and souls were won.

We would not have achieved this feat if God was never with us. Thanks to God for bringing the right souls to the right concert, thanks to the exceptional team who sacrificed time and resources to see to the success of the event, thanks to everyone who supported materially and financially, thanks to the guests who ministered and the ones who came to be blessed, thank you for being a part of the project. We are indeed, grateful. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Jesus rocks!
